Today (March 19, 2017) we planted fava beans and peas. We planted three different varieties of fava beans; 'Aquadulce', 'Windsor', and 'Precoce Violeto'.
We also planted two different varieties of peas; we planted the 'Canoe' variety, which is a shelling pea that we are trying this year and 'Sugar Sprint' which is an amazing snap pea.
We also transplanted our lettuce and kale that we started in our indoor grow tent (started on January 29, 2017) from six packs into the ground. We spread them out all over the garden to (hopefully) evade the slugs and avoid an infestation.
We planted purple and white scallions as well.
